Common questions
Can you work white-label for our agency?
Yes. I work to your process and your brand, and your client deals with you. Visual design stays with your designers; I take on the back-end, integration, Shopify and hosting work behind it.
How do you charge?
By the day, with work booked in 7.5-hour days, or as an ongoing partnership for your agency's projects. One-off technical jobs are quoted before work starts. Get in touch for current rates.
Can you join our in-house team on an existing codebase?
Yes. I work remotely as an extra senior developer in your repositories, using your tools and your review process, on ASP.NET Core, Node.js, Azure, AWS or Kubernetes.
What work do you take on for agencies?
The parts a website builder can't do:APIs and integrations, custom Shopify functionality and migrations, hosting and DNS moves, email deliverability, and security problems that have landed on the design team.
Who owns the work?
You or your client, as your contract with them says. Work is delivered into your repositories and accounts, with nothing held back.
